40/365 2.7.10 Shoot from the Hip

This week's theme is "Shoot from the Hip", meaning don't look through the viewfinder. It should be interesting. I seem to only be able to grab my camera at night and in the house. Doesn't make for very original pictures but that's where I'm at right now.

So here's today's entry. This is the way you will find me 99% of the day...with a kid attached to me in some form or another. Take a look at my fancy shooting style; behind the back and over the head. Now THAT'S talent!

This is one from a session I did a week or so ago. I love this photo. I wish I could say I planned it this way, but the truth is, this was a photo that was underexposed and I just made the best of it and converted it to the silhouette. I love the way it just focuses on the relationship and you don't get distracted by the details of the people.

Haa, haa, ho, ho, hee, hee. Boy, that's funny. HOW am I supposed to take a week's worth of pictures relating to 'sun' here in Seattle...in JANUARY! This is really going to test my creativity.

I took this picture of Logan this morning while giving him a bath. If you look closely, you'll see 'sun' on his head. There was a rare sunbreak this morning. :)

I'm not ashamed! Here's a picture of my resolution to lose weight. This is going to be the hardest one for me. ug. Not looking forward to it. I just plain SUCK at dieting. Yeah, yeah, I know...just eat right and exercise. Sigh. Both hard for this tired mom to do and find time for. I should post this same picture a year from now and *hopefully* it will be 30 pounds lighter.
